This engagingprogramme allows you to explore counselling theories and practices and develop valuable interaction skills for working with others. It provides a nationally-recognised qualification to support career progression for those wanting to work with people and those that already do. On this course you will honethe personal qualities and attributes essential for overall success in working life. The course does not fully qualify you as a counsellor. If this is your career aim we have other more suitable courses available.
You don't need any previous counselling training or experience, however you will need to be able to undertake written and spokenassessments at level 2. You need to be at least19 and must not bein a state of severe emotional difficulty or psychological confusion, nor involved in substance misuse.
