Madebyeducators is a London-based educational app development project which grew from a mother/ teacher seeing the potential of 'smart devices' to allow all children to access learning opportunities. They combine learning and gaming with an understanding of educational psychology and work with experienced subject specialists testing within schools. Duolingo is a popular app for people of all ages to help with language and vocab learning quoted as being "the most productive means of procrastination I’ve ever discovered" by Slate magazine. You can have fun while you learn and compete with your friends.
