There are plenty of ways you can improve your memory or reverse its deterioration and one of these ways is to stay mentally active. Not everyone can stay physically active, or has money to attend cultural classes, and brain training apps are a great, cheap alternative.

Lumosity is also involved in conducting cognitive training research and facilitates the research of independent scientists from over 40 universities—all with the goal of deepening our understanding of human cognition. The Human Cognition Project (HCP) is their online, collaborative research platform. Through the HCP, they grant qualified researchers free access to Lumosity’s cognitive training tasks and research tools, as well as limited access to data on cognitive task performance. Individually, these collaborators investigate a wide spectrum of topics that interest them.
