New Zealand boasts eight universities, two of which - University of Auckland (94) and University of Otago (155) - are in the top 200 according to the 2013 QS World Rankings.

Bachelor's degrees are generally undertaken over three years. The application process takes place in the Summer with deadlines in the Autumn, while the academic year runs from February to November over two semesters. A Levels, IB and equivalent qualifications are accepted. 

Undergraduate degrees cost between £12,000-£15,000 a year, while university accommodation costs approximately £7000 a year for catered and approximately £3000 for self-catered accommodation.
